If there is one address on Arcachon Bay for which I have a very special affection, it is Chez Boulan.
Facing the Dune du Pilat, at the heart of one of the most beautiful panoramas of Cap Ferret, this oyster cabin is a true favourite. Here, everything invites you to switch off: the Bay as far as the eye can see, the salty air, the boats passing in the distance and, above all, that unique feeling of having your feet in the sand while enjoying a moment out of time.
From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed with warmth and simplicity. During my visit, I had the pleasure of being greeted by Alfea, whose smile, good humour and kindness are very much part of the experience. You immediately feel at ease, as if meeting up with friends.
At Chez Boulan, the atmosphere is authentic, convivial and deeply rooted in the spirit of the Bay. Seated facing the water, you enjoy magnificent oysters and generous seafood platters in an exceptional natural setting. Between the spectacular view of the Dune du Pilat and the gentle way of life that reigns here, every moment becomes a precious memory.
It is a place I especially love to recommend to those seeking the authenticity of Cap Ferret, far from the bustle, in a setting that is simple, elegant and deeply welcoming.
